The six-piece band from Brighton, Forestears, has placed a track, “Organ Song,” intended for but not released on the EP Against the Floor on its Soundcloud page as a separate upload, and it’s memorable, with its voluptuously sad vocals, bits in the arrangement that bring the score of the film Chinatown to mind, and a somber coda that follows a significantly prolonged silence – could it be some sort of musical cenotaph?
