Currently a duo (a trio originally, up until early this year), the “Internet band” The Shures now comprises Gabriel Cabrera, from Sydney, and Chris Kennedy, from London (with, in a recent collaboration, Kristen Justine, from Cleveland, Ohio); each has a very distinctive voice, which harmonise with great feeling over the distance between them. In fact, that distance also represents one of their major themes, in their solos as in their duets.
